The New World Order: Prophecy in Fulfillment

The Bible does not use the phrase “one-world government” in referring to the end times. However, plenty of evidence brings us to the conclusion that it will exist under the rule of the Antichrist in the last days. A one-world or global government is predicted in Daniel and Revelation. It will come after the rise of a confederation of ten nations or regions (Revelation 13:1; Daniel 7:16–24; Daniel 2:41–42).

John's vision of the end times in the Book of Revelation, sees the “beast,” the Antichrist, rising out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns (Revelation 13:1). This same vision can be combined with Daniel’s similar one (Daniel 7:16-24) which speaks of the same thing. Some sort of world system will be inaugurated by the beast, the most powerful “horn,” who will defeat the other nine and will begin to wage war against Christians. A ten-nation confederacy seen in Daniel’s image of the statue (Daniel 2:41-42) is the same as John's vision, where he pictures the final world government consisting of ten entities represented by the ten toes of the statue.

John goes on to describe the ruler of this vast empire as having power and great authority, given to him by Satan himself (Revelation 13:2), being followed by and receiving worship from “all the world” (Rev 13:3-4), and having authority over “every tribe, people, language and nation” (Rev 13:7).
"It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." (Rev 13:7)
From this description, it is logical to assume that this person is the leader of a one-world government which is recognized as sovereign over all other governments. Controlling the nation, language, people, religion, economy... We should then expect to see the government heading towards a new world order if we are living in the end times, and that's exactly what we see!

The creation of an authoritative world order is the ultimate aim toward which we must strive, and Charles De Gaulle was convinced that Nations must unite in a world government or perish. - Winston Churchill

Since World War II, the United Nations have been one tool used to promote the global agenda. The rise of the UN since October 24, 1945, should excite anyone interested in Bible prophecy, and anticipating the New World Order. The ten-nation confederacy (mentioned in Daniel and Revelation), pictured as the final world government consisting of ten entities, is strikingly similar to the United Nations future goal back in 1973.

On September 17, 1973, they released a Report called the “Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System” which was prepared by Directors Mihajlo Mesarovic and Eduard Pestel as part of the “Strategy for Survival Project”. This revealed the Club’s goal of dividing the world into ten political/economic (both) regions restructured drastically into a ‘horizontal system’ which would involve interdependent ‘world regions’. The ten regions would unite the entire world under a single form of government.

Compare these other striking similarities between the United Nations and the world system mentioned in Revelation/Daniel to be inaugurated by the beast:

 The “beast” (Antichrist)
  1. A political entity. The beast has “seven heads” that are said to represent “seven mountains” and “seven kings,” or ruling powers. (Revelation 17:9, 10) Mountains and beasts are used in the Bible as symbols of governments.—Jeremiah 51:24, 25; Daniel 2:44, 45; 7:17, 23.
  2. A likeness of the worldwide political system. The beast resembles the seven-headed beast of Revelation chapter 13, which represents the worldwide political system. (Revelation 13:1; 17:3) The beast is an image, or likeness, of the worldwide political system.—Revelation 13:15.
  3. Power from other rulerships. The beast “springs from,” or owes its existence to, other ruling forces.—Revelation 17:11, 17.
  4. Linked with religion. Babylon the Great, the world’s collective body of false religions, sits on the beast, showing that the beast is influenced by religious groups.—Revelation 17:3-5.
  5. Dishonors God. The beast is “full of blasphemous names.”—Revelation 17:3.
  6. Temporarily inactive. The beast would be in “the abyss,” or inactive, for a time but would rise again.—Revelation 17:8.

United Nations
  1. A political entity. The United Nations supports the political system by upholding “the sovereign equality of all its Members.”
  2. A likeness of the worldwide political system. In 2011, the United Nations added its 193rd member state. Thus, it claims to represent the vast majority of nations and peoples in the world.
  3. Power from other rulerships. The United Nations owes its existence to its member nations and has only as much power and authority as they grant to it.
  4. Linked with religion. The United Nations have consistently received the backing of the world’s religions.
  5. Dishonors God. The United Nations was established “to maintain international peace and security.”  While this goal might seem to be praiseworthy, the UN actually dishonors God by claiming to do what he has said only his Kingdom will accomplish.—Psalm 46:9; Daniel 2:44.
  6. Temporarily inactive. In 1945, after World War II ended, the United Nations was formed. Its goal of a future one-world government is also temporarily inactive - until a global crisis, such as the judgments in Revelation take place.

There are many international events which could be interpreted as the fulfillment of the coming one-world government prophecy in the Bible, so we should be careful not to jump to conclusions. However, the rise of the United Nations could very well be in fulfillment of the coming one-world government considering the similarities.

Today, the elite want a one world government, a one world economic system and a one world religion. Ever since Pope Francis came in, he has been pushing for global unity in religious matters, global unity in economic matters and global unity in political matters. One of the United Nations goals for the next few years is to control all finances, with a digital one world currency in a cashless society.

After the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, new terms like World Community and International Community were being heard. The World Bank, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization—all of these powerful world institutions are exactly what they say they are. They are all components of the coming one-world government, the world government prophesied 2,000 years ago!

It’s hard to imagine how such diverse systems of government as are in power today would willingly allow a single ruler authority. David Rockefeller said that a global crisis would have to occur before the world would be willing to accept a New World Order. When the world’s economy began a dramatic downward plunge in 2008, world leaders again proclaimed the need for a New World Order with global economic structures.

We must remember that the disasters and plagues described in Revelation as the seal and trumpet judgments (chapters 6-11) will be so devastating and create such a monumental global crisis that people will embrace anything and anyone who promises to give them relief. But as usual, the most amazing part of it all, is the impossibility of all these current events taking shape exactly as foretold in Scripture. Again and again, the Bible foretells of these future events with 100% accuracy.
